This week on TOM MTF Derivatives Market, in all equity and index option classes offered, a total of 287,340 option contracts were traded resulting in a TOM MTF market share versus NYSE Liffe of 26%. Market share in daily index options was an impressive 50%.

Furthermore, the XNL symbol for the monthly index option class based on the AEX-index was successfully introduced. All TOM MTF members and end-investors are now trading the index options on TOM MTF with the XNL ticker symbols. The change of ticker symbols ensures competition in the long term.
