This week on TOM MTF Derivatives Market, 198,401 equity option contracts were traded resulting in a market share versus NYSE Liffe in the equity option classes offered of 23%. In the index option classes offered, a total of 90,350 contracts were traded leading to a 35% market share. In all option classed offered on TOM MTF, a total of 288,751 option contracts were traded resulting in an overall TOM MTF market share versus NYSE Liffe of 26%.
Furthermore, TOM today successfully introduced the new XNL symbol for the weekly index option classes offered.
