1. Highlights

(1) Equity Market

[Equity] Trading value (daily-average) recovered to the JPY1.8trillion level of November, 2008.
[ETF] Trading value grew by approx. 40% compared to May. Japan's first bond-tracking ETF, "ABF PAN ASIA BOND INDEX FUND"(1349) listed on the 19th, bringing tot

(2) Derivative Market

[Individual Options] Trading volume from January to June totalled 259,576 units, approx. 2.9 times that of last year (88,256 units). Open Interest at month's end totalled 90,746 units, the 2nd highest historically.
