1. Highlights

(1) Equity Market

Stock trading volume has increased for the past two months (up 9% from last month)
The environmental index ETF "Listed Index Fund FTSE Japan Green Chip 35 (1347)", the first in Japan, which listed on the 28th is off to a healthy start (First-day Trading Volume: approx. 775mil. Yen)

(2) Derivative Market

Trading volume for Options on 10yr JGB-Futures surpassed 200,000 units for the first time since the Lehman Shock in Sept, 2008
