Today, Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE)
released the “Partial Revision of Trading Hours”.
We will be accepting public comments regarding this outline of rule revisions
from the current date until December 24, 2010.

In addition, TSE has compiled the items that should be undertaken to enhance the functions of TSE as well as the Japanese securities market as a whole and, today, released the “Measures to Enhance the Functions of the Japanese Securities Market in light of Recent Conditions”, in conjunction with the release of the outline of rule revisions in the “Partial Revision of Trading Hours”.
While TSE does not expect all measures in the paper to yield immediate results,
the current situation is considered a prime opportunity to enhance the functions
of the Japanese securities market for the future. TSE will work together with
market-related parties for making the necessary improvements to the markets
environment.
