Today,at 9?F20am, the Tokyo Stock Price Index (TOPIX) dropped to 1719.15points, more than 90 points from the previous day?fs closing value of 1811.33points.
If TOPIX reaches 1711.33 points during today's session, trading participants will be prohibited from performing sales of shares for arbitrage purposes for proprietary, parent, subsidiary and affiliated securities companies' accounts, relevant to Article 5 of the Provisions of Just and Equitable Principles of Trade.
Note- Index arbitrage trades include those for TOPIX , the NIKKEI225 and the NIKKEI300 .
- Transactions through Off-auction trading (ToSTNeT) are excluded.
