The Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) approved the listing of the ETF linked to the Citigroup Nonyen World Government Bond Index - Japanese Investment Trust ("Nonyen WGBI-JIT"). It will be listed on September 30, 2009.

The Listed Index Fund International Bond (Citigroup WGBI) (Monthly Dividend Payment Type) ETF (also known as Jojo Gaisai) managed by Nikko Asset Management Co., Ltd., is an investment trust managed with the aim of tracking the Citigroup Nonyen World Government Bond Index - Japanese Investment Trust ("Nonyen WGBI-JIT"). It is a domestic ETF created in Japan. In addition, this ETF is the first of its kind in Japan aimed at tracking bond indices of advanced countries excluding Japan and it is also the first in Japan to offer monthly dividend payment.

The underlying index, Citigroup Nonyen World Government Bond Index - Japanese Investment Trust ("Nonyen WGBI-JIT"), is an index of the combined performance of the government bond markets of major countries in the world, excluding Japan, in local currency. It is converted into yen (no exchange hedge). This index is a major benchmark of global bond investment and is widely used, even in Japan, as a benchmark by both public and corporate pension funds.
* This ETF is a domestic ETF created in Japan that invests in foreign bonds. In the same way as other domestic ETFs, it is available from all securities companies in Japan (taxes on transactions and dividend payments will apply in the same way as for stocks.)

With the listing of this ETF, there will be 68 ETFs listed on the TSE.

A goal of 100 ETFs listed on the TSE by fiscal year 2010 has been set in the TSE medium-term management plan. The TSE will continue to broaden the range of ETFs in response to the needs of investors.
