Today, Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) announced the listing of "DIAM ETF Nikkei225" (Code: 1369), managed by DIAM Co., Ltd., on the TSE market.

This is the first ETF listing by DIAM Co., Ltd., an asset management company jointly established by Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. and The Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company, Limited, respectively one of Japan's largest financial institutions and a domestic leader in life insurance.
The ETF tracks the Nikkei 225 index, a price-adjusted index of 225 stocks listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange First Section that is calculated by Nikkei Inc. In the course of more than 60 years since calculation began on September 7, 1950, it has grown into one of the most popular benchmarks of the Japanese stock market.
The listing ceremony for the ETF was held at Tokyo Stock Exchange today with related parties in attendance.
