Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) is pleased to announce that it has designated kabu.com Securities Co., Ltd. as an "Index Futures Supporter" as of June 16th, 2008.
kabu.com Securities Co., Ltd. is one of the largest online brokerage firms and has been actively engaged in the derivatives market, for example, being one of the first firms to handle TOPIX Futures. kabu.com announced that they will add mini-TOPIX Futures, TOPIX Core30 Futures and TSE REIT Index Futures to their lineup when these products list on June 16th 2008.
In addition, they are actively involved in promoting TSE derivative products to individual investors through seminars and other activities, including one held in conjunction with the TSE.
The TSE expects that kabu.com's activity as an Index Futures supporter will greatly contribute not only to increased convenience for individual investors, but also to the development of TSE derivative products including new products such as mini-TOPIX Futures.
The TSE will introduce the Index Futures Supporter System on June 16th for the purpose of increasing liquidity in mini-TOPIX Futures, TOPIX Core30 Futures and TSE REIT Index Futures, which will be listed on June 16th, 2008.
