Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) will make changes to the constituents of the TOPIX New Index Series and the Size-based TOPIX Sub-indices, effective after the close of trading on Monday, July 30, 2007.
Constituent review of indices in the TOPIX New Index Series is conducted semiannually in order to accurately reflect market movements.
Only additions of constituents are conducted in the July Review. Constituents are selected from companies listed on the TSE First Section not yet included in the TOPIX New Index Series, as well as companies that have been listed for six months or more as of the base date. (third Friday of June)
