Tokyo Stock Exchange: ETF License Application, Etc. For TOPIX Risk Control Index

In order to meet the various needs of our market participants, the TSE began calculating the volatility-focused TOPIX Risk Control Index on May 23 of this year. We are now accepting license applications for ETFs based on this index from December 5th to December 19th of this year.

Please contact the TSE as below if you wish to apply for a license. We will contact applicants regarding license acquisition after the end of the application period.

Furthermore, TOPIX Risk Control Index closing price values will be published once a day on the TSE website beginning January 4, 2012 (anticipated)
