Tokyo Stock Exchange: Dormancy Of S&P/TOPIX150 Options And TOPIX Transportation Equipment Index Futures

Based on the trading activity of the rarely traded products, the Tokyo Stock Exchange decided dormancy of S&P/TOPIX150 Options and TOPIX Transportation Equipment Index Futures as follows:

1. S&P/TOPIX150 Options
   November 2002 and subsequent contracts will not be started trading.

   -November 2002 contract was originally scheduled to start trading on July 12, 2002.
   -TSE may review the possibility of re-starting trade if necessary.
2. TOPIX Transportation Equipment Index Futures
   June 2003 and subsequent contracts will not be started trading.
   (note)
   -June 2003 contract was originally scheduled to start trading on September 13, 2002.
   -TSE may review the possibility of re-starting trade if necessary.
