Tokyo Stock Exchange: Dormancy Of 20-year JGB Futures And Options On 5-year JGB Futures

Based on the trading activity of the rarely traded products, the Tokyo Stock Exchange decided dormancy of 20-year JGB futures and Options on 5-year JGB futures as follows:

20-year JGB futures
December 2002 and subsequent contracts will not be started trading

1. December 2002 contract was originally scheduled to start trading on March 12, 2002.
2. TSE may review the possibility of re-starting trade if necessary.
Options on 5-year JGB futures
September 2002 and subsequent contracts will not be started trading.

1. September 2002 contract was originally scheduled to start trading on March 1, 2002.
2. July 2002 and August 2002 contract (originally scheduled to start trading on May 1 and June 3, respectively) will not be started trading.
3. TSE may review the possibility of re-starting trade if necessary.
