The TSE will co-sponsor the Japan Securities Summit, a joint initiative between the Japan Securities Dealers Association (JSDA) and the International Capital Market Association (ICMA) which is to be held in London, January 21-22, 2008. The conference aims to promote the Japanese Securities Market by providing market professionals and investors with the opportunity to better understand the revival of the Japanese economy, the new framework of the Japanese securities market as an efficient trading venue, and the attractiveness of Japan as an investment choice. A distinguished array of financial market professionals and expert speakers from both the Japanese and the European securities industries, authoritative bodies and high-level academic institutions will give their insights on this subject. In a panel of this event, Atsushi Saito, President & CEO of Tokyo Stock Exchange Group, Inc. will also present his views on cross-border integration of exchanges and its future prospects.
