Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) made an announcement today regarding calculation of TOPIX and its sub-indices concerning the following shares to be de-listed on March 27, 2007 and the following shares to be listed on April 2, 2007 due to stock-swap.
1. Exclusion
The following shares to be de-listed due to stock-swap will be excluded from TOPIX and its sub-indices after the close of trading on March 30, 2007. For index calculation purposes, the market capitalization of the following issues will remain unchanged from the close of March 26, 2007 (the last trading date) to March 30, 2007 in the TOPIX and its sub-indices.

While the total number of newly listing shares of Fukuoka Financial Group, Inc. (8354) will be 726,573,520, the number of shares used for calculating indices upon inclusion on April 2, 2007 shall be 699,799,247, which corresponds to the number of shares to be allocated to shareholders of THE BANK OF FUKUOKA, LTD. (8326) due to the stock-swap. The remaining 26,774,273 shares will be added after the close of trading on April 26, 2007.
