Tokyo Stock Exchange: Calculation Of TOPIX In Relation To Shares Of H.I.S.Co., Ltd. (9603)

Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. announced today that 500,000 shares of H.I.S.Co., Ltd.(9603) redeemed on September 6, 2004, will be excluded in the number of listed shares used to calculate TOPIX and its sub-indices, this will take effect after the close of trading on October 22, 2004.
