Tokyo Stock Exchange Applies For Delisting And Listing Approval For Equity Options On Stocks Of Nippon Paper Industries

TSE has applied for approval to delist equity options on the stocks of Nippon Paper Industries, The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, The Mitsubishi Trust and Banking Corporation, The Sanwa Bank, The Tokai Bank, The Toyo Trust and Banking Company and The Sakura Bank; and has applied for listing approval of new equity options on Nippon Unipac Holding, Mitsubishi Tokyo Financial Group, UFJ Holdings and Nitto Denko Corporation.

Equity options on the stocks of Nippon Paper Industries are scheduled to delist on 23 March 2001, and those of the other companies on 27 March 2001. Listing of new equity options on Nippon Unipac Holding and Nitto Denko Corporation is scheduled for 30 March 2001; and those on Mitsubishi Tokyo Financial Group and UFJ Holdings are scheduled for 3 April 2001.
