The MOU will be a platform for the exchange of information for development, supervision & harmonisation of the two markets; and the maintenance and fortification of sound & safe markets in both countries.
Senior Managing Director of TSE, Mr Yoshiaki Kaneko, commented, 'This MOU is an opportunity to further strengthen the relations between our Exchanges, and to work for the development of both markets.'
SGX President, Mr Ang Swee Tian, said, 'We are happy to establish this agreement with the TSE. It is an important step towards fostering greater cooperation between the two Exchanges.
