Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. and National Stock Exchange of India Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding for mutual cooperation dated October 15th. Both exchanges expect this agreement to contribute to further growth in the securities markets in India and Japan.
The exchanges aim to create a long-term cooperative framework for developing a channel of dialogue between them. Under the agreement, the two parties will exchange information on issues such as capital flow between their two countries and products listed on each exchange, as well as exchange personnel and conduct general promotional activities for both markets in an effort to properly respond to the globalization of securities transactions.
