Tokyo Grain Exchange: Rice Early Delivery For The February 2012 Contract Month Concluded

Today, Early Delivery of the February 2012 contract month for rice futures was concluded at Tokyo Grain Exchange Inc. as follows: 

If there is more than one party desiring to make delivery, the Exchange will determine the party by drawing lots as stipulated in the Rules.  

Variety:  #1 grade 2011 crop Koshihikari rice grown in Nakadoori, Fukushima Prefecture   

Delivery Date:  February 3, 2012 

Delivery Price:  JPY13,920 

Number of Deliveries: 5 delivery units (60 tons)

Early delivery is delivery that is concluded prior to the last trading day for participants that desire to receive the cash commodity as early as possible or for participants that desire to convert their commodity to cash.
