Today, the first Agreed Early Delivery of June 2012 contract month for rice futureswas concluded at the Tokyo Grain Exchange, Inc. Agreed Early Delivery is concluded when parties to the delivery agree upon the grade to be delivered, delivery point, date of delivery and delivery documents etc. and receives approval from the Exchange. In this manner, delivery on the Exchange can be concluded even if specifications differ from normal rice delivery. In April 2012, this system was newly implemented to enhance user convenience.
Complaints for defects of delivered commodities shall not apply to recipients ofagreed early delivery.
