Tokyo Commodity Exchange: Total Futures And Options Volume Surpassed That Of The Previous Year, And Dubai Crude Oil Volume Renewed Annual Records For Two Consecutive Years

The Tokyo Commodity Exchange, Inc. announced today that the annual volume for all listed futures and options contracts for 2016 totaled 26,930,770 contracts, up 10.4% from the previous year. It was the second year in a row of positive growth.

Dubai Crude Oil futures annual volume for 2016 hit the highest level since the launch in 2001 for two consecutive years with 5,963,788 contracts (up 63.3% from the previous year).
