The Tokyo Commodity Exchange, Inc. will update Gold options contract specifications in conjunction with the launch of the new trading system scheduled on September 20. To maintain consistent contract specifications, the Exchange will suspend listing new contracts of which trading period will continue beyond the new system launch date.
1. Applicable contract months
(First trading day according to the current contract specifications)
- October 2016 contract (Wednesday, April 27, 2016)
- December 2016 contract (Wednesday, June 29, 2016)
- February 2017 contract (Tuesday, August 30, 2016)
2. Operational procedures
- The three applicable contract months will not be created during the period from the first trading day of each contract month until the previous business day preceding the new system launch.
- The above three contract months will be listed on the new system launch day and will start trading in the morning session that day.
* The updated contract specifications will be announced once they are finalized.
