Tokyo Commodity Exchange, Inc. announced today that its monthly volume of foreign customer trades reached 1,592,485 contracts in August 2011 and established a new record. The previous record was made in March 2011 with 1,304,152 contracts, which surpassed 1,114,081 contracts recorded in October 2007.
