TOCOM Decides To Extend The Night Session Until 4:00 Am From September 2010

Tokyo Commodity Exchange, Inc. (“TOCOM” or the “Exchange”) announced today that the Exchange is to extend the trading hours for the night session until 4:00 (JST) tentatively from September 21, 2010. (The closing time for the night session of the rubber contract remains to be 19:00 (JST))

In the initial announcement in February 2010, TOCOM aimed for an extension until 4:30 (JST). After careful considerations of the time needed for various post-transaction processes and after having listened to the opinions of our Members as well as IT and market data vendors, the Exchange decided to bring the closing time forward by half an hour to 4:00 (JST).
