As part of its efforts to grow the Agricultural Products & Sugar, Chukyo-Oil and the Gas Oil contracts, the Tokyo Commodity Exchange, Inc. announced today the “time zones with the most active trading” for these markets. The information details the hours where trade is most active and could make it easier to execute transactions.
TOCOM does not guarantee the execution of orders, even when liquidity is high. And the Exchange does not intend to impose any limitations on trading outside of the said trading hours. TOCOM believes that dissemination of this information benefits trading participants and facilitates more active participation in the markets.
