To help the listed companies prepare for the formulation, submission and disclosure of 2011 annual report and improve the information disclosure quality, Shenzhen Stock Exchange recently held a remote training course on the preparation of annual report. 3258 persons from 1287 listed companies of the three boards (main board, SME board, ChiNext board) attended the course. The Exchange will also play the training video online until April 30 for the review of the listed companies.
The Exchange provided an in-depth explanation on the preparation key points, common preparation and disclosure issues and preparation experiences of annual reports, as well as a themed lecture on the special requirements for ChiNext board companies in the course.
According to the trainees, the course has provided a timely, comprehensive and practical explanation on all the key points of annual report preparation, and will be of great help for the listed companies, especially the new companies, to improve the annual report preparation efficiency and disclosure quality.
As pointed out by the relevant principal of the Exchange, it is essential for the listed companies to provide authentic, accurate and complete annual report, and they are expected to further enhance the disclosure of non-financial information, properly and objectively disclose the particular environment, industry features, business models and relevant risks. Therefore, the Exchange has revised the Information Disclosure Evaluation Method to include the quantized evaluation indexes, and will further explore the differentiated supervision on the listed companies based on the disclosure evaluation result, in order to enhance the self-regulation and establish a proper market regulation system.
