His passing is a loss for all who worked in the financial sector, his friends and his family, and we offer our most sincere condolences."
Alain Miquelon, President and Chief Executive Officer of Montreal Exchange added:
"Jacques Nadeau played a key role at Montreal Exchange and helped guide our business through its demutualization, specialization in derivatives and growth into a strong player in Canada's capital markets. A true leader of Quebec's financial sector and an active participant in Montreal's business community for several decades, Jacques will be missed by all who had the privilege to benefit from his guidance, counsel and friendship. As someone who benefited from his mentorship and friendship for the last twenty years, I offer my heartfelt condolences to his family on this very sad occasion."
