TMX Group notes the pending introduction of Alpha ATS LP's IntraSpread facility. TMX reiterates its view that the facility is contrary to many of the principles that form the foundation of Canada's capital markets, including full and fair access for all market participants, visible price discovery and meaningful price improvement for internalized orders. In our view, the Alpha facility in its current form does not support these key principles.
