Three new UBS Global Asset Management ETFs on US and euro-zone corporate bonds have been tradable in Deutsche Börse’s XTF segment since Wednesday.
The first two UBS ETFs enable investors to participate in the performance of corporate bonds denominated in US dollars and issued in the USA. These bonds have an investment grade rating and a residual maturity of at least a year. The currency risk between the euro and US dollar is minimised via currency futures for the UBS ETF – Barclays US Liquid Corporates UCITS ETF (hedged to EUR).
The UBS ETF – Barclays Euro Area Liquid Corporates 1-5 Year enables investors to participate in the performance of corporate bonds denominated in euros and issued in the euro zone. The reference index contains corporate bonds with an investment grade rating and residual maturity of between one and five years.
Deutsche Börse’s XTF segment product range currently comprises a total of 1,034 exchange traded funds. This selection, together with an average monthly trading volume of around €10 billion, makes Xetra Europe’s leading trading venue for ETFs.
