Deutsche Börse is further expanding its XTF segment for exchange-traded index funds (ETFs) on the pan-European Xetra trading platform. Three new funds issued by Market Access, ABN AMRO’s ETF provider, have been tradable in XTF since Wednesday.
The Market Access RICI-Agriculture Index Fund (ISIN: LU0259321452) represents the value of a current total of 21 agricultural commodities, the focus being on wheat, corn and cotton. The second fund, the Market Access RICI-Metals Index Fund (ISIN: LU0259320728), tracks the performance of ten industrial and precious metals. The fund focuses on aluminum and copper (each with 19 percent) and gold at 14.2 percent. The Market Access Amex Gold BUGS Index Fund (ISIN: LU0259322260) gives investors the opportunity to participate in the performance of 15 major gold mine stocks.
