Three New Listings Join The New York Stock Exchange In The Week Ended July 22

In the week ended July 22, 2005, three new listings joined the roster of New York Stock Exchange-listed companies.

The common shares of Royal Dutch Shell plc,headquartered in the Netherlands, began trading on the NYSE on July 20 under the ticker symbol RDS.A/RDS.B.  Royal Dutch Shell Group of Companies is a diverse group of energy companies with operations in more than 145 countries. The company is celebrating the unification of former NYSE- listed companies Royal Dutch Petroleum Company and The “Shell” Transport and Trading Company, p.l.c.

The common shares of Harvest Energy Trust,headquartered in Alberta, Canada, began trading on the NYSE on July 21 under the ticker symbol HTE.  Harvest Energy Trust is focused on acquiring high-quality, mature properties where the production of crude oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids can be significantly increased and extended by Harvest’s hands-on operating strategy.  The company joined the Exchange as an initial public offering. 

The common shares of Maidenform, Inc., headquartered in Bayonne, New Jersey, began trading on the NYSE on July 22 under the ticker symbol MFB.  Maidenform Brands is a global intimate apparel company. The company joined the Exchange as an initial public offering.
