Three New ETFs On The Spanish Stock Exchange

The Spanish stock market regulator, CNMV, has approved the listing, as of July 12th, of three new ETFs on the Spanish stock exchange, which will be issued by Société Genérale’s management company, Lyxor.

The new ETFs are as follows: ETFs Lyxor ETF Dow Jones Industrial Average, Lyxor ETF Nasdaq 100 and Lyxor ETF CECE Eastern Europe.

The Exchange Traded Fund segment of the Spanish stock market started on 20 July 2006 . Currently it comprises 5 ETFs, 3 of them linked to the IBEX 35 and 2 to the EUROSTOXX50.

BME has granted another 5 licences to issue ETFs, which will arrive on the market soon. They are ETFs on the IBEX Medium Cap® and IBEX Small Cap® as well as on the IBEX TOP Dividendo®, FTSE LATIBEX TOP and FTSE LATIBEX BRASIL.

BME is looking forward to rounding up its ETF range with the arrival of ETFs on other equities and fixed income indices as well as other ETFs already listed on other stock exchanges.
