The Toronto Stock Exchange New Years Trading Hours

The Toronto Stock Exchange will be closing trading at 1:00pm on December 31, 1999. This special arrangement will allow securities firms to get an early start on processing year-end transactions. The TSE will also be closed Monday, January 3, 200 in lieu of January 1 2000 (New Years Day). The Toronto Stock Exchange will reopen for trading Tuesday, January 4, 1999 at 9:30am.
