The Spanish Exchange Trades 47 New Warrants Issued By Bankinter - The Number Of Warrants Admitted To Trading In 2006 Amounts To 1,329

The Spanish Exchange today began to trade 47 new warrants issued by Bankinter. The new issues are linked to Spanish shares and indices.

The 37 warrants on Spanish shares are linked to BBVA, Repsol, Santander y Telefónica’s shares.

As for Spanish indices, 10 warrants were issued on the IBEX 35®, of which 6 are call warrants and 4 put.

Among the issues are call and put warrants and their expiry dates are in June, September and December 2007. They are all European style, that is, they are exercised automatically on the expiry date.

On 1 March, the value of trading on the warrants market recorded a daily record figure, at € 34 million.
