The Spanish Exchange Trades 355 New Warrants - With These Issues, The Number Of Warrants Traded On The Market Stands Now At 1,557

The Spanish Exchange today began to trade 152 new warrants issued by BBVA Banco de Financiación. The new issues are linked to a wide range of underlying assets, including domestic and foreign shares and indices and exchange rates.

As to the warrants on Spanish shares, 43 were issued on the following underlying assets: Acerinox, BBVA, Iberdrola, Inditex, Repsol, SCH, Telefónica and Unión Fenosa.

76 warrants were issued on the following foreign shares: Alcatel, AXA, Bayer, BNP Paribas, Daimler Chrysler, Deutsche Bank, Deutsche Telekom, E.ON, Ericsson, France Telecom, ING, Nokia, Philips, Sanofi-Aventis, Siemens and Total Fina. The pharmaceutical group Sanofi-Aventis has been incorporated as a new underlying asset.

Regarding domestic indices, 46 warrants were admitted to trading on the IBEX 35®. Another 4 warrants were issued on the international Dax and 3 on the Dow Industrial Average.

As to warrants on exchange rates, 5 were issued on the Euro / Yen, 10 on the Euro / Dollar and 5 on the Dollar / Mexican Peso.

Among the issues are call and put warrants. They are all American style and their expiry dates are September and December 2006.

MONDAY, JUNE 5TH

Next Monday the Spanish Exchange will list 203 new warrants, of which 146 will be issued by Commerzbank and 57 by Bankinter.

The underlying assets for the warrants that will be issued by Commerzbank are domestic shares and indices. The 126 warrants on shares have the following underlying assets: Acerinox, Banco Popular, BBVA, Gas Natural, Iberdrola, Inditex, Indra, Repsol, SCH, Sogecable, Telefónica, Unión Fenosa and Zeltia. As to domestic indices 20 warrants will be issued on the IBEX 35®. Among the issues are call and put warrants. They are all American style and their expiry dates are September and December 2006.

The warrants issued by Bankinter will also be linked to domestic shares and indices. The 47 warrants on shares wil be based on the following underlying assets: BBVA, Repsol, SCH and Telefónica. As regards indices, 10 warrants will be issued on the IBEX 35®.

Among the warrants issued by Bankinter there are call and put warrants with expiry dates in September, December 2006 and March 2007. The issues are European style, that is, they can be exercised on the expiry date.

With these 355 new issues, the number of warrants traded on the exchange will amount to 2,301 and there are over 80 different underlying assets.
