The Spanisch Exchange Trades 245 New Warrants Issued By BBVA Banco De Financiacion And BNP Paribas · The Number Of New Issues So Far This Year Exceeded 3,500 For The First Time In The History Of The Market

The Spanish Exchange yesterday began trading 56 new warrants issued by BBVA Banco de Financiación and tomorrow, tuesday, 189 warrants issued by BNP Paribas will be listed on the market. With these incorporations, the number of listed warrants so far this year has reached a record 3,539.

The warrants issued by BBVA Banco de Financiación are linked to Spanish and foreign shares and domestic indices.

As regards the Spanish underlying assets, 23 warrants were issued on BBVA, Gas Natural, Iberdrola, Inditex, Banco Popular and Repsol. As to the warrants on foreign shares, 28 were issued on the following underlying assets: Apple, Cisco Systems, eBay, Google, Microsoft, Pfizer and Yahoo. As to indices, 5 warrants were issued on the IBEX 35®.

Among the issues are call and put warrants. They are American style with expiry date in June 2007.

Tomorrow, 189 warrants issued by BNP Paribas will be listed on the market. The warrants are linked to a wide range of underlying assets; domestic and foreign shares and indices, exchange rates and commodities.

The warrants issued on Spanish shares were 75, which are linked to the following underlying assets: Telefónica, SCH, BBVA, Endesa, Repsol, Iberdrola, Inditex and Banco Popular.

As to the warrants on foreign shares, 62 were issued on the following underlying assets: Nokia Oyj, Deutsche Telekom, EADS, Alcatel, France Telecom, Total, Microsoft, Cisco Systems, Google, Intel and Apple.

As to the warrants on indices, 11 were issued on the IBEX 35®, 6 on the Nikkei, 7 on the Dow Jones Eurostoxx 50 and 7 on the S&P 500.

As to the warrants on exchange rates, 9 issues were made on the Euro / Dollar. As regards commodities, 5 warrants were issued on the Brent Oil future contract and 7 on the Gold Ounce.

Among the issues are call and put warrants. They are European style with expiry dates in March, May, June November and December 2007.
