The Saudi Stock Exchange Performance Report – October 2018

At the end of October 2018 Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed at 7,907.01 points, decreased by 92.53  points 1.16% over the close of  the  previous  month. 
Highest close level for the index during the month was   8,038.07   point   on   01/10/2018.
Total equity market capitalization at the end of October 2018 reached SAR 1,881.80 billion (US$  501.81 billion), decreasing  by 0.93%  over  the close of  the  previous  month.
The total value of shares traded for the   month of October 2018 reached  SAR 95.74 billion (US$ 25.53 billion), increasing by 92.40% over the previous month.
The total number of shares traded* reached 3.86 billion shares during the month of October 2018 compared to 2.23 billion shares traded for the previous month, an increase of   73.12%.

The total number of transactions executed during October 2018 reached 2.62 million compared to 1.68 million trades for the month of   September  2018,  an increase of  55.55%.
