The Saudi Stock Exchange Performance Report – January 2019

At the end of January 2019 Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed at 8,559.95 points, increased by 733.22  points 9.37% over the close of  the  previous  month. 

Highest close level for the index during the month was   8,623.93  point   on   28/01/2019.

Total equity market capitalization at the end of January 2019 reached SAR 2,025.36 billion (US$ 540.10 billion), increasing by 8.95%  over  the close of  the  previous  month.

The total value of shares traded for the   month of January 2019 reached  SAR 68.21 billion (US$ 18.19 billion), increasing by 13.42% over the previous month.

The total number of shares traded* reached 2.89 billion shares during the month of January 2019 compared to 2.55 billion shares traded for the previous month, an increase of   13.23%.

The total number of transactions executed during January 2019 reached 2.47 million compared to 2.36 million trades for the month of   December  2018,  an increase of  4.65%.
