The total value of shares traded for the week ending 17 December 2015 amounted to SAR 29.54 billion, increasing by 11.25% over the previous week; while total stock market capitalization reached SAR 1,629.26 billion at the end of this period, increasing by 1.11% over the previous week. 

The total value of shares purchased by "Saudi Investorsduring this period amounted to SAR 28.15 billion representing 95.30% of total buying activity, and sales of SAR 28.09 billion representing 95.10% of total selling activity. Total ownership of "Saudi Investors" stood at 93.24% of total market capitalization as of 17 December 2015, representing an increase of 0.02% from the previous week. 

The total value of shares purchased by "GCC Investors" during this period amounted to SAR 0.617 billion representing 2.09% of total buying activity, and sales of SAR 0.448 billion representing 1.52% of total selling activity. Total ownership of "GCC Investors" stood at 2.44% of total market capitalization as of 17 December 2015, representing an increase of 0.001% from the previous week. 

The total value of shares purchased by "Foreign Investors" during this period amounted to SAR 0.773 billion representing 2.62% of total buying activity, and sales of SAR 1.00 billion representing 3.39% of total selling activity. Total ownership of "Foreign Investors" stood at 4.31% of total market capitalization as of 17 December 2015, representing a decrease of 0.02% from the previous week.
