The Saudi Stock Exchange Announces The Publication Of The Monthly Stock Market Ownership And Trading Activity Report (By Nationality And Investor Type)

The total value of shares traded for the month ending 30 November 2015 amounted to SAR 107.62 billion, increasing by 5.06% over the previous month; while total stock market capitalization reached SAR 1,656.90 billion at the end of this period, increasing by 1.71% over the previous month. 

* The total value of shares purchased by "Saudi Investors" during this period amounted to SAR 103.42 billion representing 96.10% of total buying activity, and sales of SAR 102.17 billion representing 94.94% of total selling activity. Total ownership of "Saudi Investors" stood at 92.93% of total market capitalization as of 30 November 2015, representing an increase of 0.16% from the previous month.

* The total value of shares purchased by "GCC Investors" during this period amounted to SAR 1.67 billion representing 1.55% of total buying activity, and sales of SAR 2.48 billion representing 2.31% of total selling activity. Total ownership of "GCC Investors" stood at 2.48% of total market capitalization as of 30 November 2015, representing a decrease of 0.02% from the previous month.

* The total value of shares purchased by "Foreign Investors" during this period amounted to SAR 2.53 billion representing 2.36% of total buying activity, and sales of SAR 2.96 billion representing 2.75% of total selling activity. Total ownership of "Foreign Investors" stood at 4.58% of total market capitalization as of 30 November 2015, representing a decrease of 0.14% from the previous month.
