The Philadelphia Stock Exchange To Launch Options On SPDR Gold Trust (GLD)

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX) announced today that trading of options on SPDR Gold Trust (GLD) will begin tomorrow, June 3.

Citadel Derivatives Group LLC will be the specialist.

"We applaud the teamwork of the SEC and the CFTC for developing a regulatory framework for GLD options,” said PHLX Chairman and CEO Meyer “Sandy” Frucher. “Our customers can now elect to hedge positions consistent with strategies employed on other ETF products."
