In his new role, Craig will manage strategic initiatives the Exchange is pursuing, as well as directing the government relations and corporate communications efforts of the company. In addition, he will oversee the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), a group that is charged with analyzing market structure issues and other developments in the securities industry. He will also support the office of the Chairman and CEO on a number of special projects. Craig, who joined the Exchange five years ago, holds a master’s degree in public management from the Fels School of Government at the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a master’s degree in American history from Tulane University. He earned his undergraduate degree at Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama.
Prior to joining the PHLX, Craig, who resides in Mount Airy with his wife and two children, worked for Amtrak’s corporate finance group, where he was responsible for financial analysis and managing strategic alliances, in addition to a broad range of public affairs/communications initiatives.
