The Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX) announced today that it will begin trading options on DIAMONDS Trust, Series 1, (DIA) on Tuesday, September 6, 2005.

Citigroup Derivatives Markets, Inc. has been allocated the issue and will act as specialist.
