Equity volume for November reached 230,080,251 shares, down 8.2% compared to the same period last year when 250,758,069 shares traded. Volume decreased 29.9% compared to the previous month when 328,270,606 shares traded.
Sectors index options trading volume in November increased 63% when 277,847 contracts traded compared to the same month last year when 170,488 contracts traded. Sector index option volume decreased 12.3% when compared to the previous month when 317,044 contracts traded.

Trading volume in November in the customized and standardized currency options totaled 31,489 contracts, a 15.4% increase from the previous month when 27,283 contracts traded, and a 12.3 % increase from the same month last year when 28,048 contracts traded.
