The Pacific Exchange Will Resume Trading On Monday, September 17 At 6:30 AM.

Effective immediately, the PCX will be increasing security and enforcing stricter entry procedures. The changes and restrictions will include:
  • Access to the Options Floor will be thourgh the main entrance (Front Desk) at 220 Montgomery Street. All other entrances and exits will be off limits.
  • No visitors will be allowed on the Trading Floor. Please do not have any new employees report for work on the Floor on Monday, September 17.
  • Arrangements for new member firm staff may be conducted after 10 a.m. on Monday.
  • Members and Member Firm personnel will be required to show their PCX photo ID.
  • Any one without appropriate identification will need to receive a temporary badge to be issued by Member Services, located in the Options Admin Conference Room.
  • All bags will be subject to search. Please do not bring unnecessary items to the trading floor.
Expect delays. You will need extra time to enter the floor, especially at 6:00 AM. Members and Member firm staff are advised to arrive at 5:30 a.m. The Floor Trading Committee, along with senior management, has endorsed these changes for our safety during these extraordinary times. Please check for updates after 1:00 pm PST on Sunday 9/16/01.

NOTE: All Day orders entered on September 11, 2001, are considered "nothing done" and have been purged. All GTC Orders entered on September 11, 2001 are considered "open" and have been retained in the trading systems.
