The Options Industry Council (OIC) announced today it has named Alan Grigoletto as Director of Education as part of its expanding effort to educate retail investors, their financial advisors and institutional investors on the risks and benefits of exchange-listed options.
In this new role, Mr. Grigoletto will manage the education efforts of the three areas of outreach for OIC: retail investors, financial advisors and institutions. Based in Chicago, he will assist the marketing team in evaluating outreach strategies; collaborate on options curriculum, collateral development and web content for the OIC websites; and work with the media to promote options education. Mr. Grigoletto will also participate in conferences, trade shows and panel discussions.
“It is a pleasure to welcome Alan to OIC. As a well-respected figure in the industry who has been a member of the OIC Roundtable and a valuable OIC instructor, we have worked with him over the last several years. With his tremendous experience and proficiency in the options markets, Alan is a natural addition to our team,” said Gina McFadden, President of OIC.
Prior to joining OIC, Mr. Grigoletto served as the head of all Business Development and was responsible for maintaining client relationships and making business recommendations at the Boston Options Exchange (BOX). Before his stint at BOX, he was a Founding Partner at the investment advisory firm of Chicago Analytic Capital Management. Mr. Grigoletto has nearly 30 years of expertise in trading and investments as an options market maker, stock specialist, institutional trader and portfolio manager. He received his degree in Finance from the University of Miami and is an active member of the Securities Traders Association and OIC.
