Having considered the RTS market data from September 1st to November 30, 2004, the Information Committee has decided to update the list of RTS index constituents. Starting January 1st and ending March 31, 2005, the Exchange’s benchmark indicators – RTS Index and RTS Current Quotes Index – will be calculated based on the new list. Coefficients that are based on free float numbers were also reviewed for a group of securities.
The following stock was added to the list: Kalina, common (KLNA).
The following four stocks were taken off the list: Moscow City Telephone Network, preferred (MGTSP), Krasnoyarsk Hydroelectric Power Station, common (KRSG), Kuzbassenergo, common (KZBE), Tulenergo, common (TLEN).
The list is comprised of 68 stocks. Total market capitalization calculated based on best bids as of November 30st, 2004, equals $144,358,085,147 if calculated without free-float coefficients.
