2019 Venture 50

On February 22, the 2019 Venture 50 will be announced. The Venture 50 is a ranking of top performers on TSX Venture Exchange over the last year and is comprised of 10 companies from each of five industry sectors.

TSX Venture Exchange is exceptionally proud of the impact these companies have in Canada and around the world. The 2019 winners reported 2,000+ new employees in 2018. 76% reported they expect to raise capital in 2019 and 63% expect to pursue an M&A transaction.

2018 Real Estate Review

It was a strong year for the real estate sector in 2018.

Trading volume for the sector was up 15% and trading value was up 25% in the year. In the past five years, TSX and TSXV real estate issuers raised nearly $45 billion and the market cap of the sector is up over 160% in the past 10 years.
