TSXV and TSX Indices are Top Performers in 2016
The S&P®/TSX Venture Composite Index and the S&P®/TSX Composite Index are out-performing global peers in 2016. Year to date June 10, the S&P/TSXV Composite is up 36% and the S&P/TSX Composite climbed 8.6%. In comparison, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was in third place, up 4.2%. The gains are wider when we examine the performance since the low on January 20: the S&P/TSXV Composite is up 51% as of June 10; the S&P/TSX Composite has climbed 18.5%. The next highest is the Dow Jones Industrial Average at 13.3%. |

TSXV Road Trip to South America Makes Headlines
Recently in South America to promote TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV) as a highly efficient listing venue for international companies, TSXV President John McCoach was interviewed by Spanish-language business publication Pulso. Mr. McCoach highlighted TSXV's unique role in helping small and medium-sized companies, including non-Canadian businesses, to access capital and develop, eventually graduating to the more senior Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX).
